oh hey there (that’s a midwestern hello). 

my family jokes that i’m always on some adventure, equating me to that sneaky childhood book character waldo. my friends call me carmen sandiego, international spy-adventure-lady. “it’s like we’re playing ‘where’s kiva?’ where in the world is kiva victoria?!” they’d laugh. and so, where’s kiva came to be a fitting reference.

i was introduced early on and frequently to travel and places of “other,” and what started as a general interest in culture, history, art, and the humanities grew into a trajectory towards exploration and insatiable curiosity, often leading to side quests, obscure adventure, and tangential gigs. a bachelor’s, graduate certificate, and master’s degree later, i still feel like my pursuit is incomplete, and may perpetually be...the urge to keep on learning, listening, and expressing is ever-present. 

and so, without further adieu, i present this: my “personally professional portfolio” - a general collection, ensemble, an ongoing compilation of my travels, my studies, my work, my thoughts. some are visual, some are written. some are personal, some are academic. some are old, some are new. red fish, blue fish, one fish, two. there’s probably something about fish, too...
